QR Code Generator — Wi-Fi, Text & Links
Create static QR codes for web links, plain text, or Wi-Fi sign-in details. Generate the code locally, then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. No account, tracking redirect, or upload is used.
The Wi-Fi password is encoded directly into the static QR image. Anyone who scans it may be able to join this network.
WPA/WPA2 passphrases must be 8–63 UTF-8 bytes. WEP is outdated; choose WPA/WPA2 when available.
Static codes only. The code is generated on this device, has no scan analytics or redirect, and cannot be edited after download. Always scan-test a code before printing or sharing it.
What this tool helps with
Sharing a long URL or guest Wi-Fi password is awkward on signs and printed materials. A static QR code makes the exact text or network details scannable without storing them on a QR service.
How to use it
- Choose Link or text, or switch to Wi-Fi and enter a network name and its security details.
- Generate the QR code and scan-test it with a phone before sharing or printing.
- Choose a 256, 512, or 1024 pixel PNG, or download the vector SVG for print.
Requirements
A modern browser with JavaScript, SVG, canvas, and UTF-8 support. Network names are limited to 32 UTF-8 bytes; WPA/WPA2 passphrases must be 8–63 UTF-8 bytes. Wi-Fi readers differ by device; test the exported code on the phones your visitors use.
Limits and privacy
Codes are static: they contain the exact text or network information you entered. They have no scan analytics and cannot change destination after download. A linked website can still move or go offline. WPA/WPA2 passphrases must be 8–63 UTF-8 bytes, WEP keys must match a supported legacy length, and QR Wi-Fi support varies among camera apps. Keep payloads under 2,000 UTF-8 bytes and preserve a clear dark-on-light pattern for scanning. Inputs are processed locally in this browser. The site does not provide an upload endpoint for this tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is my Wi-Fi password uploaded?
No. QR data is generated in this browser tab and is not sent to JuzhenWork.
Do static QR codes expire?
The code itself has no service-side expiration or redirect. A URL can still stop working if its website changes or goes offline.
Can I track scans or change a link later?
No. This tool creates static codes and does not run a redirect or analytics service. Create and print a new code if the encoded text changes.
Why is my Wi-Fi password rejected?
WPA/WPA2 passphrases must be 8–63 UTF-8 bytes. WEP accepts a 5- or 13-character key, or a 10- or 26-digit hexadecimal key. Choose WPA/WPA2 whenever the network supports it.
Can every phone join Wi-Fi from a QR code?
Many camera apps recognize the standard Wi-Fi payload, but behavior varies by phone and OS. Scan-test the exported code before distributing it.
