Resize an image to exact pixels

Maximum 15 MB and 20 megapixels. Your image stays in this browser tab.

Choose an image to load its original dimensions.

What this tool helps with

Upload forms, profile images, website layouts, and social cards often require exact pixel dimensions. Resizing by guesswork can stretch a photo or produce the wrong output size.

How to use it

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 15 MB and 20 megapixels.
  2. Enter the output width and height. Keep Lock aspect ratio on to preserve proportions, or turn it off only if stretching is intended.
  3. Choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP output, then generate and preview the resized image.
  4. Check the displayed pixel dimensions and download the result.

Requirements

A modern browser with Canvas image decoding and export support. The output is capped at 20 megapixels to limit memory use.

Limits and privacy

This tool resizes one static image at a time and does not crop or add image detail. Unlocked dimensions stretch the image. JPEG has no transparency; transparent pixels are placed on white. Canvas export can change color profiles and metadata. Browser interpolation may look softer than specialist resampling software; inspect the preview at its intended display size. Inputs are processed locally in this browser. The site does not provide an upload endpoint for this tool.

Frequently asked questions

Can I resize an image to exact pixels?

Yes. Enter the requested width and height in pixels; the result panel reports the generated dimensions.

Will the photo be distorted?

The aspect-ratio lock is on by default and adjusts the other dimension. Turning it off allows stretching.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The selected image is decoded and exported in your current browser tab.

Can I use this to crop an image?

No. This tool scales the full image. Use a separate crop tool when you need to remove edges or fill an exact frame.
